Scam and Fraud events

Yesterday was a busy but rewarding day for PCSO Humphrey and PCSO Bartos! They conducted patrols in St Peter's Street and East Street and also hosted two fraud and scam events. At the West Indian Community Centre, they had a great session giving a talk on scams and staying safe during the elders' activity session, and a fraud specialist officer also joined them. The fraud and scam event was also fantastic at the Sidney Street Community Centre, which they helped organise with the Guinness Partnership officers.  After starting the monthly catch-up sessions in March, they have seen a welcome increase in the number of residents attending! They worked alongside partners from Trading Standards and Derby City Council, who also attended the Sidney Street event to offer valuable information and advice.
